To Be Honest:

I LIKE this collection. In fact some of it, I even LOVE. But then again, some of it is at prices was beyond their worth, such as the Yellow Tutu Skirt. But then again, this is  callies' picks. It was bound to happen! Actually, I think this is the first time that the outfits on the store mannequins actually look ok. Some are great, others are not bad, but overall the store looks quite good!

At least we FINALLY have a grunge collection after the total flop that was the so-called "grunge inspired" LE earlier this year. Just, really, stardoll? It looked more like a rodeo/sheriff theme to me. Anyway, this collection was worth the wait.

OOTD + new stardesign item review

A new star design item was released I love it because it's versatile and grungy. The only thing I don't like however, is the yellow/gold trim around the pockets. It's distracting and can clash with your design pattern. Also it's a little pricey for my liking...14sd??

WAY TOOOOOOO PRICEY FOR ME!

I really really really wanted the Selena Dress but it was far too pricey, and by the time I could afford it, it had sold out! I was able to grab one item - but now I'm broke of course.

Overall it's not a bad collection, but it looks to me like some items belong more in a Voile collection - shoes - or in SubCoture - dresses.

At least the graphics were good and the colours were interesting I give it an 8/10

And yet, I'm still not overly fond of it.

Birds Eye, while a new and unique concept, just doesn't seem to fit in with anything else we can already buy or own. Maybe I'm just picky.

The "tans" look a bit ridiculous to me, and the bikini looks so old-fashioned! The towel dresses are nice, but the Wrapped In Big Towel  is very uni-sex which is interesting.

The prices are very neat and the graphics are good - in fact there's even a video of Stardoll designing one of their items, the Wrapped In Big Towel (Which is about the least creative item name, EVER.)

I did like it enough to buy an Inflatable Nemo though, for a very modest 8sd.

I hadn't expected we'd see a third season of SubCoture, but here it is in all it's gorgeous glory! ONLY 3 HOURS LEFT!

The prices are to DIE for, and so are the items!

While the jackets most undoubtedly stole the show, the cute wedges and bold gowns were also amazing! I managed to snag 5 items, and a mysterious gifter was kind enough to buy three more items off my wishlist which I am VERY grateful for!

My fave items would have to be the Chromatic Jacket and the unusual but stylish Death Metal Jacket -  a name I'd never thought stardoll would ever use, I must admit.

I'll be honest - it's a 10/10, although I'd like to see some more original shapes next time as these ones seem to have appeared in many collections recently. However the devil is in the detail, which all these have!

I am Falling madly in love with these!

The Mint Combat Platforms are my absolute fave, next is the Suspender skirt! 

Admittedly,  the basic graphics are alost too simple, but the prices are neat and all the items are as colourful and versatile as last seasons!

I'll give it a 9/10.

A Short Listed Rant:

1. THIS IS NOT GRUNGE AT ALL!
It weird rodeo. Or 90s. Or hip-hop even.  Like seriously, I can't get ANY of the so-called "inspirations" from it.
2. FAR TOO PRICEY!
I can't afford to buy any of it, and I saved up!!! I can't afford to pay $10 for ONE DRESS!!!!
It's a good thing my friends are nice and gifted me some stuff ,otherwise I'd be without.
3. EW. Half of it is just plain ugly. I just have to say it.

I normally post on Tuesday, but it's a full-up day and I just couldn't wait!

I absolutely ADORE the "Pink Waves" styles, the "Ombre Ponytail", "Isabel"  and the Side Waves! Tehy're all just too good. 

Admittedly, I'm disappointed at such high prices and with no sc/ non-ss hair in sight. I love this hair and it will be a shame to have to change it when my SS ends.

But while some may be utterly perfect, the "Diana", " White Ombre" and "Blondie" hairs seriously disappoint, as they don't even fit the dolls head properly.

This collection has neatly divided my oppinon - while some are perfect, and the two ombre shades of "Ying" and "Yang" are a great idea on Stardoll's part, the rest shows a display of evident greed and rushed graphics.

I also worry that this collection may be "Limited Time", and stay for maybe a month, which seems to happen with all the best Tress Up hairs.

Review #1 : PPQ's New Realease

Katyperrycupcak here with some reviews on the latest PPQ release!

MY RATING:
Dresses: 8/10
Skirts: 7/10
Tops: 8/10
Shoes/accessories: 6/10

This new season of PPQ has some bright, summery colors, and a few nice dresses, but all together it's pretty small, and not overly exciting.

I can't say too much really. They're well designed, though not impressively so, and are fairly plain. I almost feel as if I've seen some of these items before.

Some things, such as the PPQ Floral Headpiece are just wrong. It's not even FLORAL! What one earth was stardoll thinking?!?! The Vilolet Dancer Skirt won't even fit my doll, let alone suit.

 The Buttoned Long Gown, however, is glamourous, and if I had any SD I'd grab it! The Pollen Dress is also cute, if a little short. I just wish there'd been more shoes, because these ones are such a let down, and there are only so long I can spend looking at them.

I do like the window display, though. It's classily set up, unlike some of stardoll's other creations lately.
